　　這首歌在2001年年底完成，曲是Dave寫的，詞由Brandon完成。2003年10月錄了最終定版。混音版有收錄在2007年的b-side精選專輯Sawdust當中。

　　從mv開頭就可以知道，美國版比更早拍攝的英國版來得有梗，描述的是一段三角戀情：Brandon Flwers（歌手,The Killers主唱）+ Izabella Miko（波蘭女演員,舞者）+ Eric Roberts（美國男演員）。不過我覺得這個故事描述得還挺詭異的，讓我想到馬戲團。後來發現這個美國版本的英國導演（混亂XD）拍過超多音樂錄影帶的，詳見維基百科的列表。這個mv還讓The Killers贏得2005年的MTV最佳新人獎。

　　卡麥蓉狄亞曾經在電影《戀愛沒有假期》當中跟著CD，邊跳舞邊唱〈Mr. Brightside〉。

　　前些日子，我洗澡的時候跟著家裡那臺今已往生的收音機唱過這首。
